Copyright Information: All images copyrighted by photographer, Brandy Kemp. It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, or reproduce her work in any manner or medium and punishable by law with fines starting at$150,000. As an artist, Brandy wishes to have complete control over the final look of her client’s images, and scanned images damage her reputation as a photographer by distorting and degrading the image quality.
Retainer Policy: Your session fee is due within five days after booking your appointment. This guarantees the time and date allotted for you. Should payment not be received in this time frame, Brandy Kemp reserves the right to offer the date and time to another client.
Exclusive Photographer: Please do not bring your own camera, camcorder, or recording device to the session.
Travel Fee: There may be a travel fee for locations 30 miles outside of Milan, Tn.
Sickness: If you or your child is feeling ill, please call to reschedule. If you must cancel, please try to do so at least 48 hours before your session.
Re-Shoots: Re-shoots are at the discretion of the photographer only. Reshoots are not given for regretful personal choices such as hair styling and clothing.
Print Orders: Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session, your ordering session will be scheduled or you can take advantage of other ordering options.
Order Changes: Changes to your order must be made within 24 hours of order receipt and must be made in writing. If you call in an order change, you must follow up with a request in writing (email is acceptable) or the change will not be valid.
Final Order: Your final print order will be ready in approximately 2-4 weeks after your ordering session.
Specialty items may take up to 4-6 weeks. We will contact you by phone in order to set up a convenient time for your images to be picked up.
Order Pickup: Please make sure all orders are picked up within 30 days after they are ready. We cannot be responsible for orders that are not picked up within 30 days.
Portrait Care: Handle your portraits with extreme care. Damage incurred as a result of improper handling, framing or hanging is the responsibility of the client.
Sales are Final: Due to the custom nature of each session, all sales are final. If a mistake is made regarding an order, we will gladly fix and/or replace an item as long as the mistake is brought to our attention withinthree days of order receipt. An item must be returned to receive a replacement.
Cards & Custom Art: We have a number of pre-made card designs that will be shown to you for card orders. You may make up to three small revisions (in writing) at no charge. Any additional revisions will be charged at $25 per hour. For other custom art, you must first pay a non-refundable $25 retainer on the purchase ofcustom art. No design work will be done without such retainer.
Retouching: Any retouching beyond the basic retouching we automatically do (small facial scars,
blemishes, eye circles) will be charged $25 per hour. This includes braces, removal of logos/words, etc.
Facebook: Before and after your ordering session I will post a small resolution watermarked versions of my favorite images on my Business Fan page. You will be able to tag yourself on that image so you have image from your session on your own Facebook page. You will have to ‘like’ our business page in order to tag yourself. Digital files and small resolution watermarked images of these files are provided to you with the purchase of full resolution files. Only the watermarked images are permitted to be displayed online.
Payment Options: We accept cash, check and credit cards. There may be an additional fee of $5.95 for each credit card transaction.
Returned Checks: Checks returned by the bank, for any reason, will be assessed a fee of $35.00. All orders will be cancelled if they are not paid in full with cash or money order within three days of notification of a returned check.
Usage: brandy kemp Photography reserves the right to use the negatives and/or reproductions for display, publication, or other purposes. If you waive this usage provision, you also waive the right to receive a blog preview or any other online viewing gallery. Negatives and originals remain the property of brandy kemp Photography.
